From Pastor Aaron Chester

Every family needs a church family.

Raising little ones was never meant to be done alone.

The Alex Nazarene sign: Home of the Nazarene Nursery School

Every weekday, your child walks into a building that belongs to a church. That’s not an accident. In 1969, the people of Alex Nazarene started NNS because they wanted to be a blessing to young families in Alexandria. More than fifty years later, we still do.

We believe every family should have a church family: people who know your name, pray for your kids, bring a meal when the baby comes, and sit with you when life gets hard. Teachers can help your child get ready for kindergarten. A church family is there for the rest of life.

If you already have a church home, we’re grateful, and we’re cheering you on. If you don’t, we’d love for you to try ours. You don’t need to dress up or know what to do. Come as you are. Your kids already know the building.

“Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. And let us not neglect our meeting together…”
Hebrews 10:24-25 (NLT)
