A blessing to Alexandria families for over 50 years.
We exist to be a blessing for the parents of preschool-age children in Alexandria and the surrounding communities.

It started with a pastor and a promise.
In 1969, Pastor Sam Roberts and the leaders of Alexandria’s Church of the Nazarene opened Nazarene Nursery School for 3- and 4-year-olds. Pastor Roberts told the first teachers that the school would be a blessing to parents who had no place to send their children to get ready for school.
57 years later, that is still why we’re here. Generations of Alexandria kids have learned their letters here, sung in the Christmas program, and celebrated Pre-K graduation on their way to kindergarten.
What we do: We prepare preschool children spiritually and academically for future education.

Learning, family, fun, and teamwork.
Learning
Clear goals and a steady routine, so every child grows a little more each day.
Family
Parents, teachers, and kids, all on the same team. You’re part of the NNS family.
Fun
Shaving cream, Play-Doh, songs, and stories. Kids learn best when they’re having fun.
Teamwork
Our teachers start each morning together and share the work, so the good days are great.
We are a Christian preschool. Children pray, hear Bible stories, and learn Bible verses as part of every school day, and every family is welcome, whatever your faith background.
Meet the team.
